Staines And District Conservative Club offers facilities to members of all abilities, and includes ramp access from the garden/patio area along with an accessible toilet on the ground floor.
The long bar extends across two distinct but connected seating areas, with a lounge style area at one end and a sports style area at the other incorporating a full size pool table which is moved for music events to reveal the dance floor.
Darts
The lounge bar has an area set aside for darts and includes an electronic score keeper.
The Club can loan sets of darts on request – just ask any member of staff.
Snooker And Pool
The Club also provides pool cues, and chalk is usually available, although we recommend bringing your own whenever possible. We are pleased to be involved with the local pool leagues and are represented by some very talented players who enjoy regular success. Practice sessions and competitive matches are mostly played on Mondays through to Thursdays, with a free table on Wednesdays from 3pm.
Snooker is available upstairs to members and accompanied guests. There are three full size tables with overhead canopy lights which must be used when playing or practicing. Drinks can be consumed in the snooker room but glasses must not be placed on or near the tables and must be returned to the bar. Members are also asked to respect the age limit of 16.
The beer garden has level access from Market Square and a ramp into the premises. The garden has covered seating and is currently being extended.
Private Functions And Events
We regularly host charity events, birthday parties, wakes, and functions for local businesses and groups alongside our own events.
The pool table is easily moved to reveal the dance floor and provides room for live bands and DJ equipment, and our large flat screen TV can also be used for presentations.
Catering
We are able to provide catering to suit most budgets, from finger buffets to three-course meals.
