The club re-opened successfully at midday on 6th July following the announcement on 23rd June regarding the easement of restrictions.
All social distancing measures have now been implemented in line with the guidelines appropriate to our venue. As a result it has been necessary to restrict some of the facilities until it is considered safe to reintroduce them.
Entry will be via the main entrance as usual and the exit will be via the patio doors.
The bar security grille will remain in place during opening hours to protect staff members who will take orders and payment behind the safety of a perspex shield. Orders will be served at the opposite end of the bar.
Snooker, pool and darts have now been reintroduced with hand sanitiser freely available. The gaming machines will be brought back into use shortly.
We are encouraging use of the outside spaces when weather permits, and this area is being extended and more seating will be made available over the coming weeks.
The club has initially opened for MEMBERS ONLY, which means no guests for the time being. This will be reviewed once we have established the routines and footfall, and have satisfied the applicable conditions for remaining open safely.
We are not be permitting dogs until further notice. Children will only be allowed on the premises if sanctioned by a committee member and subject to our usual rules.
Please pay by contactless debit card whenever possible, respect the social distancing rules, and be mindful of other members. Working together sensibly we can look forward to bringing some much needed normality back into people’s lives.
